# $ANANAS Token

$ANANAS is the ecosystem utility token of Ananasverse. It is a standard **ERC-20** token that keeps the Work Hub running and rewards active workers.

## What $ANANAS is used for

| Use case              | Details                                                 |
| --------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Recharge Battery**  | Keep your worker hashing by restoring its battery.      |
| **Repair Durability** | Remove the sub-50% durability hash penalty.             |
| **Rewards**           | Bonus utility rewards paid on top of stablecoin income. |
| **Trading**           | Swap on DEX liquidity pools ($ANANAS/ETH, ETH/USDG).    |

## Token economics

* **Liquidity:** Seed liquidity is provided from the mint via the [DEX Liquidity Pool](/fund-allocation.md) (15% – 20% of mint proceeds).
* **Trading:** $ANANAS is exchangeable on DEX liquidity pools with minimal slippage.
* **Income flexibility:** Holders who prefer stablecoin-only income can swap $ANANAS freely for ETH/USDG.
